In the heart of Galmudug State, Somalia, a glimmer of hope shines for the future. CISP has constructed new classrooms in select schools, transforming the educational landscape for countless students. This initiative, funded by the EU, aims to accommodate the growing student population and foster an enhanced learning environment, particularly for girls.
Amidst the bustling streets of Abudwaq District, Hawlwadag Primary and Secondary Schools stand tall, their newly constructed classrooms echoing with the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Ali Botan, a deputy head teacher, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating, "The new construction classroom and the dedicated room for Girls" Space will have a profound impact on our school. Surely, it will provide a safe and supportive environment for girls to learn and thrive, empowering them to reach their full potential."

The impact of this initiative extends beyond the classrooms, reaching deep into the hearts and minds of the students and teachers alike. Mohamed Mustafa, a Senior Education Officer for CISP in Galmudug, emphasized the transformative power of education, stating, "The new classrooms will invigorate the teachers' teaching approach. With ample space and modern facilities, they can provide a more engaging and student-centered learning experience. The Girls' Space, in particular, will foster a sense of belonging and empowerment among the female students. We are committed to ensuring the girls' space so that they can share their issues related to learning and discussions."
As the echoes of laughter and learning reverberate through the newly constructed classrooms, a wave of hope washes over the communities of Galmudug State. CISP's SETS II Project, funded by the EU, has not merely built classrooms; it has ignited a spark of potential, empowering girls and boys to dream of a brighter future.
